Man think of dancing round fire beating chest.

Measure twice, cut once.
I'm a sucker for guides to help make consistent cuts. The cheap, low tech way uses a mitering block.
If you have a drill, doweling and white glue are much stronger than nailing and tend to split the wood less. It's not hard ; just use the drill size that matches your doweling and hold things in place while it dries. You don't even have to go all the way through the material and can be tricky and neat !
Clamps are nice, but you can do without if you're patient.

I have clamps and use them regularly.

This is a great blog. I love it! Your creativity is devine. I pictured you as a great cave man. . . and that is the point of writing... to make others "picture" your moment. It would not of been near as wonderful to have simply told the facts. Bravo my new friend. You rock.

I was unsure of how to comment back without it being on your page. Though I would love to comment on your page, I prefer it to be about you, not me. hahha
I simply wanted to say... I love you. Thank you so much for your wonderful comment on my last blog. I hadn't checked my email in a bit I got caught up in myspace. I just checked it today. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you for viewing me that way. What a wonderful gift. It was a wonderful release. Sometimes I could stand on the highest mountain and scream just to scream. Sometimes I could laugh until I cried. I love that I'm not afraid of my emotions. I'm so glad you weren't afraid of mine either. My love, my respect, my joy at having you as a friend. Thank you. Love, Shannon
